Portland Adult Ed student Andrew Israel Kazibwe was honored as a Community Captain at this Sunday’s Hearts of Pine game. In addition to giving PPS 20 season tickets, Hearts of Pine are inviting local folks like Andrew who make a difference in their communities to do the coin flip.

Andrew recently graduated from Portland Adult Education’s Workforce Department program in Heat Pump Installation. Besides being a leader in the class, he volunteers his time at Portland Media Center, Preble Street, and with the learning lab also at Portland Adult Education. Congratulations, @ikisraela!
