GIVE STOCK

Thank you for considering a donation of stock to the Foundation for Portland Public Schools! Giving stock, bonds, or mutual funds can be a tax-savvy way to support our students, allowing you to avoid paying any capital gains tax that would otherwise be due. 

In addition, you can claim a charitable income tax deduction for the fair market value of the stock on the date on which it was transferred, not just for what it was worth when you acquired it.

You’ll need to provide your broker instructions with the following information:

LEGACY GIFTS

With your legacy gift, you will inspire others and help ensure FPPS’s ability to address unmet needs of the Portland Public Schools and to increase educational opportunities, achievement, and equity for all PPS students and staff.

We are committed to transparency. The Foundation for Portland Public Schools uses donations to support students in the Portland Public Schools. We take 6% of donations for administrative purposes to help keep our organization running by supporting routine, but indispensable day-to-day business operations.
