FPPS Summer Innovation Grants for Teachers (2024)

The FPPS Summer Innovation Grants for Teachers Program is designed to support teachers (or other PPS staff) who want to work alone or in groups over the summer months to engage in curriculum planning, school team collaboration, or other summer work intended to advance new approaches to student learning or otherwise prepare for the 2024-25 school year. Summer Innovation Grants for Teachers seek to support time and work that would not otherwise be funded in the PPS Annual Budget.

Part 3 – Budget

Important: FPPS will fund staff time only (materials or conferences will not be covered by this grant). Use $40/hour as the figure to pay for teacher time. Please provide the total amount requested, along with staff names and number of hours per person proposed.
Expenses – This grant will cover only Staff Time. Please use $40/Hr. This grant will not cover materials. Please omit dollar signs ($).

Number of teachers being paid at $40 per hour times the total hours proposed. Maximum awards are $800 for individuals and $5,000 for teams. Each team member can only be paid for up to 20 hours of work ($800).
